Our curved swords are made from 5/8" thick pine with blades up to 3" wide. These swords are similar to the large, curved blades used all over the near-east and north Africa.
The scimitar was widely used throughout the near-east and the holy land. The wide, heavy blade made it an ideal cavalry weapon often used by warriors on camels or horses. Our version is 36 inches long and is one of our largest, most impressive swords.
The cutlass was a curved sword often used by pirates and buccaneers. The short, heavy blade is easy to carry, say, to sneak aboard an enemy ship, yet also very deadly. Our cutlass is 24 inches long.
Our standard black nylon belt with a large, oval shaped sword loop to accommodate the wide blades on our Arabian swords.
